The communication design program currently offers courses in: Advertising Design; Animation/Illustration; Graphic Design; Web Design; and Motion Graphics. The Assistant Professor will teach basic, intermediate and advanced advertising copywriting and/or art direction concept courses. Teaching assignments may include day, evening and Saturday courses. Service will include participation in department advisement, curriculum development, student activities and college-wide committees. The Assistant Professor will be expected to pursue creative, scholarly and professional activities at a level appropriate to the communication design profession. Applications will be accepted until the position is filled, with review of applications to begin March 8, 2018.
